how stupid are vets

Recommended Posts

they diagnosed my 4 y/o italian mastiff with arthiritus afetr she started limping on her left back leg about 9 months ago and put her on 2 huge tablets which i've had to force down her throat twice a day since,

this weekend she hurt her right leg and had to take her to the emergency vets and they said she'd torn a ligament so a specialist had to be called in to operate, he's taken a quick look at her x-rays and said she hasnt got arthiritus she'd actually done in both ligaments and the only reason it seemed to be gettin better is because she's such a strong dog and had just been putting up with it, its a good job she's insured and none of this has cost me a penny because the bill so far is well over £500 fo a mis-diagnosis never mind the pain she's had to put up with and the fact that for the next 2 months she isnt going to be able to be taken for a proper walk

WANKERS!!!!

tell me bout it,

took the pup for her 2nd injection, saw it was the same vet that looked at the mark on back of hob ferrets neck, she said it was a skin infection, charged me £35, later found out from the forum here, that it was where the young hobs get randy and mount each other,

so thought i'd tell her, might be helpful to her if seeing other ferrets, goes in, only for her to say the pups limping and what am i feeding her on, told her the limp was cos she's got lanky legs and ive had to hold her in arms for 20 mins in waiting room, cos if you put down on floor, you get told not too as not had all injections :wallbash: and therefore she's prob bit stiff, but she then asked what im feeding her, the look of horror on her face when i said tripe and fresh caught rabbit, so then started moaning at me, saying this wasent good for dogs :wallbash: ended up with me telling her politly :whistling: to give the 2nd injection so i could go, before causing more arguments....

wont be going there again
