iworkwhippets 13,274 Posted October 10, 2014 Report Share Posted October 10, 2014 Hey up lads, i bought an lg 42inch tv a couple of weeks back, bloody thing turns itself off, ive been back to currys and they have given me some tips, go into settings on my remote, do this n do that, they showed me what to do in store , but when i get my settings up, its a completely different screen, so the only thing i have managed to set to off, is the sleep timer, which was already highlighted as off, they have told me at the shop, i have a month to deal with them, a replacement tv if i want, and after a month, i have to deal with lg direct. , ive googled lg tvs and it seems a problem with em, anyone any advice would be more than welcome lads, apart from that, brill tv pic quallty and sound spot on model number 42lb 700 thank you keith Quote Link to post Share on other sites
forest of dean redneck 12,023 Posted October 10, 2014 Report Share Posted October 10, 2014 Lgs suffered with a weak main board I think, We put ours in kids room and got a Samsung smart TV,it's got wireless internet capability ,and Netflix,I player ,YouTube all built in,we cut our sky TV,told the licence man to feck off,and saved about £500 a year 4 Quote Link to post Share on other sites
