jasper65 6
Gin My lad of 11 plays a Epiphone SG 400 and it has a cracking sound to it mate! he belts out the Green day tracks and some AC/DC numbers and even though he's my son I must say he is a natural, he's had no lessons but can listen to tracks and blast them out within the hour, the latest he banged out in record time was "Teenage Kicks"... jasper65 6
i wished i could play something but i am tone deaf I know what you're saying Magwitch! the guitar my lad plays was originally brought for me by the missus! I tried and tried to make some decent sounds but just managed to empty the room whenever I picked up the guitar , the lad finally picked it up and played it so its now passed onto him, I'm pleased he sits in and plays rather than go out getting up to mischief.... I started palying a "buckety" old £50 acoustic which is naff, so I've been playing a borrowed Gibson SG (the same as Jasper's lad's) but I really want a semi acoustic so really need a Sheraton or a DOT. Jasper tell your lad the first two songs I learned to play were Greenday's Time of Your Life and When September Ends & anyone that plays a Gibson is alright by me.
