Weather Not Perfect

Recommended Posts

If you want to lamp without a moon all you have to do is vary the times you go out. The moon will rise today at 6.37pm tomorrow it will be approx 7.30 the day after 8.30. It gets dark at approx 7pm so you can get an hour in with no moon in two days time. The same goes for a rising moon go out after the moon has set, that means getting up early though.

Lamp like that and there are only 3 or 4 days a month that you cannot get out without the moon being up. and as it gets dark earlier the more time you will have without the moon. During November and December I would be lamping 2 days after the full moon without the moon being up. The same on the rising moon, the moon would be down by 4am 2 days before the full moon so go out then and have a couple of hours, with the added bonus that any rabbits out feeding would have full bellies.
