Dewclaw69 484
can't say enough about this dog. 15 month locally bred collie grey. not been out for about a month with the heat and bony hard ground but had an hour early last night and he's back into it straight away. still giving him the best slips i can but he's way quicker now and smarter too. not sure why but i'm getting so much more from this dog that other lurchers i've kept just didn't have. 1 Quote Link to post

Dewclaw69 484
because you just click with some dogs more than others but sounds like hes doing you proud yep you might just be right there. something in his character , always wanting to please ( can only be the collie ). always run deerhound or beddy crosses before. they have always seemed much more laid back. he's a big hearted dog too and has some stamina. couldn't be happier and going to enjoy my lamping with him. he's only going to get better yet he's still better now than a couple of dogs i've seen recently. but he's well trained, fed well and in good condition so all that helps.
