jcm 2,327 Posted September 26, 2014 Report Share Posted September 26, 2014 Decided to go out for an hour or so last night and give the dog a few runs to sharpen him up before we do the all night lamping trips. Was his second night on the lamp this season and the first night we seen very little but managed two nice rabbits anyway managed a few slips lastnight. The start of the night he was running his rabbits well but not managing to pick them up, then the last half hour that I was out I gave him 5 slips and he caught all 5 which I was happy about as this particular dog takes a couple short nights out just to get him that bit fitter and sharpen him up then once he is we have lots of sport and lots of fun so I think one more short night out and a couple runs before I start putting the Miles in fir some propper bunny bashing with my rabbit rocket.
