WhiteN 15
Cut a long story short: Professional kitchen showing signs of mice (on - going), small number of droppings and sightings. However, numerous bait points down with various formulations of bait BUT not being touched, external boxes, mice are eating block bait, EHO has got involved, client was using break back traps , eg: properly placed etc but has been told to remove, no explanation given. What id like to know is are the mice showing behavioural resistance to the tamper proof boxes ??? Hygiene is pretty good but not perfect. Quote Link to post
DIDO.1 22,868
I have had places with mice quite bad where they wouldnt go near baits and defiantly never enter a bait box. Its easy, when faced with these situations, where rodents wont act as you would normally expect, to think as its an unusual situation that you need to think outside the box to deal with it, maybe you do...but....always start with basic principles. Survey proper...indeed better than normal....with regards to finding sources, harbourages and food sources. Makes sure hygiene is not just good but 110%. I have dealt with them with tracking dusts but with changes to legislation that option wont be open to you. Pasta baits placed right into harbourages, gel baits and traps can play a part along with glue boards (boo hiss) and hygiene hygiene hygiene. 1 Quote Link to post
