drid 22
What are the better pellet and why !! Thanks Quote Link to post
Rez 4,961
They're both pretty much the same pellet mate. This is just like general barracuda and magnums to be honest. I have the same issue with air arms fields and jsb exacts. Get a couple of sample tins and find out... I'm gonna have to do the same. Edited August 25, 2014 by Rez Quote Link to post
drid 22
The hunter extreme are a totally different pellet weight and shape !! Quote Link to post
moxy 617
I couldn't get magnums to group at all through the rapid. Absolutely shocking. The Barracuda's were spot on but I only tried the copper coated flavour. They grouped well up to 60yds (FAC). Never tried them beyond that. Quote Link to post
ratbuster 808
The Hunter Extreme is a H&N Baracuda pellet with a crossed hollowpoint head, weights a couple grains less than the original pellet. I've tried them in my .25 Stealth (don't have them in .22 ) 28.4 grain versus 31 grains. Out to 40 meters they behave similar, further away the Bara is much more accurate. I use them in a .25 FAC Stealth, doing 50 fpe+ Accuracy wise I would go for the Bara's / Bisley Magnums (same pellet ) Under 40 meters the Hunter is impressively devastating, doing a lot of damage ......, but anything hit with a Baracuda in the right place won't do much either.
