celticrusader 78
Yeh that's a smug reply from someone who's there to serve you at the end of the day, just remember one thing mate...a lot of these shops are full of people who like to dictate what they think to people and like the sound of there own voice. One thing I've found regardless if 3-5 people will tell me what's best for the job it doesn't mean that its best for me so I wouldn't worry about them mate, truth be told I've struggled to find a difference I guess unless you put them side by side it would only be marginal. celticrusader 78
Got to admit if I didn't have a Brno 581 I probably wouldve gotten a customised 10/22. There is very little difference between a cz511 and that just that its a more modern made rifle under cz as apposed to Brno....that and the mags are slightly different which most can't tell but I've cracked the problem with that. Mitchell Thompsett 7
Yer struggling to find other gun shops in reach to be honest! May just have to go with SGC although it will kill me! I noticed the trigger on the 453 and heavily modified 10/22 was super smooth and broke like glass. Couldn't believe it and the trigger job for 10/22 is only £70/£! Ah decisions decisions. Going down the range tomorrow so hopefully will be able to make my mind up. Bought some sniper fire firebird targets so hopefully they will go off in the rain! lol Quote Link to post

celticrusader 78
Why not customised they're good rifles...can't be the most popular rimmie in the world for no reason. My mate told me about this 140yrd shot he made and I said "must've been a bolt action" nope he replied and then told me about this custom job that was worth a good £1000 with an alloy bolt that was so light...to say I was surprised was an understatement but then for that price you would expect so, shame a lot of other decent makes havnt gotten the recognition that ruger had with the 10/22.
