Cedric 132
I swapped a spare springer (HW97K) for a single shot BSA Ultra. Never used a pcp before and wanted to see what they were like. So far I've only played with it but last night took my night vision (Pitch Black Hunter) off the 10/22 and popped it on the Ultra and zeroed at 30 yards. Tonight I was having a mooch about enjoying the cool breeze and saw a rabbit in the NV. Set the cross hairs just behind the eye and gently sqeezed ! Amazing ! Just the mearest 'phut' and it keeled over, stone dead. .177 and it dotted that big rabbit no problem. Quote Link to post

Cedric 132
Oh, I'm not giving up springers, they are too handy as a travelling gun. Pocket of pellets and thats it, no bottles etc. I now have a HW99S, primarily for squirrels, the HW97K was just to heavy for me to swing around. Quote Link to post
