byrney 2
Most of my permission is covered with light bramble, the warrens usually consist of three to 10 holes max. I'm getting p***ed off with spending an hour pruning before i can lay my purse nets, so i think i would be better off with some type of long net. I have never used them before so could i have some advice on what type, and weight i would be best with and also how best to lay them out. thanks byrney. Quote Link to post
Guest Magwitch
i use a couple of 25 yarders for earth's that are under bramble and would say 6z would be best. 6z is not the weight its the breaking strain of the nylon. cut yourself some hazel or get some cheap B&Q garden poles and a couple of end pins. maty j 6
stay away from the b&q poles....useless. hazels allright if on a budget but if your rich go for the compressed plastic type available from magnum trap co. much better at going into hard ground and easyer to adjust the height of net etc. all thats if your going for the quickset type net of course cheers.
