Do you mean if you want to add a fresh area to a closed ticket they expect you to wait until renewal ? Should you just have renewed it could mean over a three year wait! That does not sound as though they are providing a decent service.

Yes basically I'm on a closed ticket and there saying if it's not been passed already there not checking it till renewal . So if it's not been checked you will have to wait till it's opened up what a load of s##t.

Feo's are a pain at moment. I have hmr cleared for fox on my ticket with west mercia but got new land on north wales border where a good mate lives but I cant shoot the foxes their with a hmr and if I do I will lose my fac as north wales don't accept hmr as fox calibre. What a joke so I told him to clear it for .223 its only 8 acres and although its safe land I feel a .223 is way to much gun.

Make a complaint,

Sounds like they're trying to fob you off to reduce their workload,

Not your fault you've acquired new ground. What've you got to lose by challenging it?

As SS says, get in touch with whichever shooting organisation you are in and see what they say, what a load of crap, you are paying them, they are public servants, if you have new land to shoot over, I would be very surprised if they are not duty bound to check it, also I would be sending a polite letter to the chief constable, explaining your situation and asking him to explain why Derbyshire police have adopted this ludicrous policy.
