A Few Hours Rabbiting With The Hmr

Recommended Posts

After a few hours out on some of my new permission i'll be returning shortly with the only bunny of the evening, and Charlie even made an appearance but being to slow to unshoulder the rifle he went back into the barley.

Never mind a 147yrd shot bowled him over an nearly blew my mind as I paced it out to him.

Thanks shropshire dan...And on the way back to the truck i got a little surprise at just over 50 yrds with a standing shot to the neck which rounds it off to 3 and the potential for far more when the barley is cut giving better visibilty throughout most of the land.

quick question tho ..how do i upload the pics onto here i cant see the attachment icon.

haha funnily enough federal v shok are exactly what im using at this moment in time, would normally stick to hornady as i would give them the edge accuracy wise but tbh theres very little in it im sure others could tell you more but im happy with them...but for £5 a box you cant go wrong mate

Cracking evening that got better as it got later, most of the land is flat and open and as I'm still getting used to the spots scattered throughout it seems that the Hmr will be better suited than the 22lr as longer shots seem to be required.

All going well, got one a lot closer that anticipated at about the 10yrd mark and the other disappeared into the barley.

Being that it's starting to reach mid day I'm heading back Now....no Charlie but I do have a nice PIC to put up when I get back :)
