pluckers son 0
what do you think about a dog that yapps when running game??? if the dog was for just running rabbits on the lamp i would say its a bad thing but if you have the dog just for fox would that be ok ?? Quote Link to post
Nell 1
Bad!! Some people learn to live with it, but its not for me....... Edited to add: Its not always the dogs fault though, fair enough it can sometimes be put down to the wrong breeding, but by starting them too early I have seen this make a dog open up out of frustration. Simoman 110
Why may it be ok for fox?.......where legal Quote Link to post
Nell 1
Why may it be ok for fox?.......where legal It isn't, you would want the fox caught, not chased up the field being shouted at!!! Quote Link to post
Simoman 110
Aye, thats what I was getting at............ Quote Link to post
pluckers son 0
Why may it be ok for fox?.......where legal it wouldnt but if it happens you are less likely to scare off other foxs because more often than not you only see 1 fox in a field but for rabbits there may be loads in the field....the dogs yapping chaseing the rabbit next thing you no theres no rabbits left to lamp because of the yapping noise scared them off Quote Link to post

cymruguy69 5
My bitch used to yip a little when turning rabbits. she's seemed to calm down alot now and only does it now and again if she loses her quarry. It doesn't seem to bother me at all. I find that the rabbits don't f**k off when she does yip infact Iv'e had many a squatter because of this. It bothers some people but I'm fine with it. Just go lamping on your own or with someone whom don't care. Quote Link to post
