Bsa R10 Mk2 Owners......

Ive recently bought one in .177 flavour, it putting out at 10.8 fps with rws superdomes. does that sound about right?

Try a different pellet, like jsb heavy , very good pellet or aa fields . The heavies in my old r10 use to give out 11.7 and the fields 11.4

Don't get too hung up on Chrono numbers, 10.8ft lbs is easily good enough and probably set at that to avoid creeping over 12 ft lbs.

 

I once bought an S10 from an RFD who claimed it was doing just under 12 ft lbs. Having used it for two years, I bought a chrono..

 

Turned out the gun was firing at 9.5 ft lbs, but honestly I wouldn't have known had I not had a chrono. Basically 10.8 or 11.7, the difference is not worth worrying about as long as your R10 is consistent.

11.7 is stil better than 10.8 for hunting any day
