Sorry to pinch some space on your thread Jigsaw...but I've eventually found my photobucket account (not used it for five years or more) but I couldn't upload (or is it download) the photos from the Lumia to my HP pavilion laptop. It said I needed to install something from a site called Zunu (or something like that) and I'm always wary of downloading something in case I pay for it without realising. Technophobe. Any advice?

Get the photobucket app it;s free it will even automatically upload pictures for you as you take them if you want it to. easy as pie.

Yay....I'm not as much of an idiot as I thought...I've downloaded the app and uploaded some photos.

 

However, now I can't find the idiots' guide to posting photos. Can anybody help, either by putting up a link or writing an idiots' guide for idiots who can't even find an idiots' guide.

if you click on the photo you want to upload (im presuming you have them loaded on photo bucket ),and then on the bottom link that says IMG,,, left click...... and just open the hunting life post and..... right click and paste,job done

 

 

just like that.simple lol.......hope you could follow that

Thanks Jigsaw, I'll give it a go. Probably put it in the bushing dog section as, being without ferrets at the moment, I can't really call him a ferreting dog yet. Apologies for taking up so much of your thread.

There are two ways you can get the address (url) of the photo you want to upload.

1 When in photobucket below the thumbnails you will see (img) tags Left click the image tag in the box to highlight it, then R/click to copy the address and simply paste it in your post.

 

 

2. Click on a thumbnail in photobucket and open it up to a larger image. On the right hand side you will see the tags same as what is beneath the smaller thumbnails. Pick the image tags field again, only this time double left click on the field, once it has been copied the field will turn yellow and copied will come up in the field, then simply paste in your post.

Just found out yesterday if you are using firefox on a Pc or laptop if you enlarge your thumbnails you can then r/c on the image and copy the image then paste it on here.
