malc1 544 Posted May 14, 2014 Report Share Posted May 14, 2014 well got me a vac hob last year put him in with 2 jills this season just to see if he was ok jills never caught so my mate lent him and then put him in with my other jills then I had a phone call this morning hes got 2 lots of kits and looks like his other 3 jill are in kit as well so checked mine when I got home and ive got 5 jills in kit maybe 6 so if [NO TEXT TALK] is after kits please pm me Quote Link to post

johnrthrfrd 223 Posted May 14, 2014 Report Share Posted May 14, 2014 Had a 1 done a couple of years back took umpteen gills out of season no bother then next season put him in with my 2gills to take them out resulted in 2 litters asked vet and she said his tubules must have reattached so done the 1 av got now cheap touch wood no probs with him. 1 Quote Link to post

Guest vin Posted May 14, 2014 Report Share Posted May 14, 2014 same thing has happened to a mate of mine plus he borrowed the Vas hob to his mates also... so lots of unplanned litters in the near future. I'm on the lookout for some new stock this summer...But only thing is i would be looking for kits from litters that were mated intentionally with regards to working strains and prey drive etc etc. . . not from Jills that were not intended to be bred from, for one reason or another etc etc. Quote Link to post

Hot Meat 3,109 Posted May 14, 2014 Report Share Posted May 14, 2014 Fooking he'll mate you better start building new hutches or runs, you'll need em lol I was planning on 2 litters to try and further a line but in end I said fook it and bred 1, 2 litters at time is hard if done properly wouldn't like to be in your shoes, if I'm honest I'd cull hard, atb with them tho 3 Quote Link to post
