Rez 4,961
Hello all. Tomorrow I plan to make the purchase of the above rifle for the price of £400 and I really do understand that the question may have been asked before, but how do we rate this rifle? I plan on the .177 version, already owning a .22 scorpion. I have done the reading over the past few weeks and watched numerous YouTube media on the rifle. To be honest everyone seems to rate them highly. The few questions I do have (and there is no better forum to put this out there) is, what are the thoughts on the recoil with the smaller calibre? I understand that the weapon does kick somewhat more... The reason for me purchasing this rifle is due to my own personal learning as I've shot many pcps but feel I'm not progressing as a shooter, and that they do in fact, hide the bad habits that I may have grown to have. I love my scorpion, don't get me wrong, but it'll stick pellet on pellet all day and I'll i do is pull the trigger within reason. I feel somewhat disconnected and perhaps better than I actually am. A good springer will highlight my bad habits very well as you'll know and I'll then be able to learn the art properly. With this in mind, what are your thoughts? I'm a lefty hence the choice of adjustable stocks and ease of use. I do plan to tune the inner workings! Trigger etc, but from the box I'll put a good few thousand pellets through it and would like your encouragement that I am making the right choice. Many thanks in advance. Quote Link to post
