Tuning Questions ?

Hi I have been lurking on and off the forum for a few years & would like to thank you all for being a very informative & knowledgeable lot in your chosen fieldsport !

I have sold my HW100KT & am now in the market for a new rifle , it will be a springer HW97KT wooden stock or the HW98 am 75% leaning towards the 97 but have not made my mind up at the moment.

Before buying I am a little unclear on TUNING.

 

1: Should I shoot the rifle in for say a few months first,before tuning ?

 

2: Have it stage 1 tuned before I buy ?

 

3: And if I wanted it stage 2 tuned when would I do this ?

 

I would very much appreciate your views on this topic !

I bought mine, stage 1 tuned from Sandwell field sports brand new, its a HW 98, I cant recommend them enough, the gun shoots unbelievable, all what they say is true reading past comments about the place the gun is something else.

You would not be disappointed.

hi all

I'm new to the forum, i have 2 questions

1. i am looking for a moderator for my mk2 rapid 7, its got a 19" barrel and is FAC @ 35ft/lb, i have heard that the awt is the one to go for but can't find anybody selling them

2. i am also looking for an L/H or ambi stock for same

if anybody has any advice on either of these points i'd be very grateful!
