ianbse 0
Having just recently bought my first air rifle (bsa scorpion t10) I was struggling to get permission to shoot on farmland , but persistence paid of eventually and last nite I got to hunt for the first time. Turning up I spooked a few rabbits (not as lightfooted as I used to be) but I laid up downwind of where they obviously favour and waited. After a wait of 30mins or so I began seeing a few in the woodland and knew that if I stayed hidden and still they would venture to within range. Ended up taking 2 shots and 2rabbits and home before dark. Will be out again tonite.

ianbse 0
Thanks... as a new shooter I was a little concerned about causing unnecessary suffering to my quarry but the scorpion is incredibly accurate in .177 and both rabbits were dispatched cleanly with headshots..
