Shewolf 5
Hello, I'm one of the two new owners of Atherton Indoor Range (AIR) in Greater Manchester and I'm trying to let people know about the changes in ownership and management, as well as the changes being made to the range. Atherton Indoor Range is a friendly all weather indoor range. The range is 42 yards with a 10 metre pistol range. We have many different targets (spinners, bells, sound reactive) as well as paper targets at varying distances, perfect for zeroing you gun. The range has something for everyone, whether you are a serious shooter, or just want a bit of plinking. We have just reduced the range fee to £6, and there is no time limit set on the range, you can shoot all day if you have the energy! Free air fills for guns is provided. We are currently refurbishing the range to improve the facilities, and the general shooting experience. We are building a new social area where you will be able to order hot food (hot drinks are already available) and watch a bit of TV or just chat with your fellow shooters. We are also building what will be a fully stocked shop (although pellets are currently available at very competetive prices) so you will be able to try a gun before you buy it! Guns will also be available for rent in the next couple of weeks. Our opening times are - Mon - Closed Tues - Closed Wed - 2pm - 9pm Thurs 2pm - 9pm Fri - 12pm - 9pm Sat - 9am - 5pm Sun - 9am - 5pm We are open every bank holiday (except Xmas and New Years Day) from 10am - 5pm. Please note, the website has not been updated yet with our new contact number and opening times. Our new number is 07745278372, and will be available during opening times. Please be aware that this is for calls only, and texts will not be answered. If you're in the area please feel free to pop in for a look and a chat! 3 Quote Link to post

Shewolf 5
Hi moxy, I do not know why they would not be welcome. We simply ask that all our shooter are safe, respectful, and polite.I do have a quick update. Whilst free air is included in the range fee, bottles can be filled at a charge of £3.50 for anything up to 7ltr, and £5 for 7ltr to 12ltr. The charge for a gun fill where a range fee has not been paid is £1 per gun. We are in the process of getting airguns that will be available for rent at an additional charge of £5 per gun. The first gun is due to arrive 16/04/14. Prone position shooting is available. 1 Quote Link to post

If the group are welcome. Plus incorporating members on here on joint meet days could you please PM me your number so we can arrange use of the top floor and set out some ground rules. At your discretion of course. Thanks. Quote Link to post

Any future use would be at the landlord's discretion. We do have a new number which is 07745278372. Please note this number is only manned during opeing hours, and texts will not be answered. We do also have an official Facebook page which is - https://www.(!64.56:886/#!/airgun.indoor.range Quote Link to post
