Adaptor Question .

Recommended Posts

Ok I bought a power adaptor ages ago for my laptop. The cable f****d up!

Anyway I'm using it for my batterie charger.

Now on the side of the power adaptor is a sliding switch saying voltage selector, and is on a scale from 15 to 24 volts.

Thing is it powers my wee batterie charger on any of those settings.

I've currently got it in 18 . I'm charging AA batteries is this an ok setting? And what does it actually mean if it works no matter what one it's on.

Just don't want to f**k it up!

What does it say on the back of the battery charger?

Max input in volts, MA etc?

It will charge your batteries. No problem. But over time if things are not in harmony it will nacker your batteries. Heat them up and mess with their memory.

Don't attempt to charge li-on batts. potential fire hazard.

The charger is for the states, two prongs, and I'm still waiting on the adaptor for the uk arriving. But my adaptor I have fitted the jack on the bottom of charger, and it worked, just didn't know f**k all about the voltage settings.
