jonesy 111 Posted March 17, 2014 Report Share Posted March 17, 2014 Got an old v reg petrol peugeot 406,when its ticking over it normally sits at just under 10 on the rev counter but lately its been reving itself when ticking over upto about 18 revs then just drops down and back up again,anybody any idea what could be causing it? baw 4,360 Posted March 17, 2014 Report Share Posted March 17, 2014 I had an escort van that done it, especially in the cold mornings, it was diesel though. On tick over it would chase trying to find a rev. Got it sorted, think it was the EGR valve, can't mind, that much went wrong with it lol.
