fireman 11,462
Sunday 9th March The Eastern Bird Federation has a Native only show at the TA center Swaffham Norfolk and if your not to far away(saying that i know lads travel down from newcastle for it) it's worth a look as there's usualy a good selection of hard and soft bills and even a few native finches can be found for sale, not loads but a few oddments, usualy greenies and redpolls but have seen goldies etc before now.Probebly a 200+ bird show and there's a stall or two there selling bits and bobs and pictures, books and posters type things and a cafe bit,not sure what time the doors open but will do soon so will post when i know but i do think it's before midday.

fireman 11,462
If i see a pair there i'll grab them for you but your'll be lucky i'm affraid, siskins have been a bit thin on the ground the last couple of years as it goes but i will look..You should get one of the lads to run you over as you can park very close to the door and it's not a huge hall with seating at the servery so you can sit down in there and it's never really crowded so you can look at the birds without being knocked or having folks walk in front of you all the time .

fireman 11,462
Should say that list of birds were the ones for sale and there were plenty of natives of both hardbill and softbill types.
