chef_shooter 3
Hi guys and girls, quick question to all of you. Anybody experienced the s410 or s510? I am really considering buying one of these and would like to know a bit more about them both. Ive researched them both and also attended the air gun show at stoneleigh park last week. The reason for choosing these models is the price for the gun. I believe the s400 is £200 cheaper and can add a magazine adapter to the breech for around £50 so maybe that is something to consider. Any help or advice would be appreciated. Thanks 1 Quote Link to post
logan esq 99
Hi I have the s400 with mag attachment. Granted its a little fiddly to move pellet round to the chamber but once you get used to it. It works very well. But it becomes second nature. The rifle is very well made and shoots straight as an arrow. You will save a few quid buy getting the 400 rather than the 410. It's an all round excellent rifle. 1 Quote Link to post

mark williams 7,568
Hi Chef, At my local range the s410 and s510 are both very popular indeed. The lads at the club are into hunting every bit as much as they are target shooting, so yes your choice is a good one. The most "seen" pcps I have noticed are the HW 100, Daystate, Air Arms rifles. Some of the hunting lads are not bothered about a magazine at all as their attitude is "I don't need more than one shot"! On a personal note I shoot the HW 100 and find that with the magazine the rifle is lethal shooting rats, or corvids for example. atb Quote Link to post
TheRealChuckNorris 42
The S510 is easier to cock (can be done with one finger) and will result in less movement which is a bonus when trying to stay as 'on target' as possible. Quote Link to post
