Recommended Posts

I'm about to get a cz452 .17hmr and its fitted with a redfield 4-12x40 accu-range reticle scope. I've never had or used a redfield scope I've looked and their at the sportsman gun centre for £315

Anyone had one and could give their thoughts?

Thanks in advance

there a leupold copy

Leupold bought the Redfield brand out of the dirty crevices of junky Chinese manufacturing in 2008. The old Redfield shut the doors on US Manufacturing in like 1998 and they went to hell.

In 2009 or 2010 Leupold started selling the new Redfield branded scopes which are made in the same facility in Beaverton OR as Luepold scopes and they carry the same warranty and service as Luepold scopes.

Reticle, field of view, magnification, eye relief, tube size, Objective size, light gathering, dialling in, etc etc all make up a scope, there are lots with fairly specific uses in mind but most can be used for a multitude of uses on a variety of guns.

In simple terms, its personal, if it works for you then that's all that matters!
