Dog Not Coming Back

Any ideas why my lurcher has started doing a lap of honour when the lamp goes out (only when he misses, still retrieves) and how I can stop it??

Deffinitely how I feel sometimes lol a few easy runs I think is what's needed but ill have to find some new land for that! ?

It's hunting up mate nothing worse imo back to basics or get it on some easy bunnys on big land

Lamp off and walk away to the car and head for home! You need to end the game for the dog. Don't flash the lamp looking for the dog it will only encourage it or worse find another rabbit. Won't take the dog long to sus that this behaviour won't get it more runs.

 

And get the recall at night improved, It can all be exciting stuff for a new pup, so stay chilled and all will be irie!

Cheers for the advice that sounds right straight back to motor, he's lamped well all season just thought it was odd that he started doing it now but I guess the runs are getting harder with all the bunnys knowing the crack been lamped time n time again
