gonetoearth 5,144
Well today went well the hounds hunted well in the first cover and soon enough they were marking a dug out rabbit hole so my lad was collared up and in he went in and for a while we heard nothing then all of a sudden a big rumble and the huntsman looked at me and goes he's met his opponent so we got a mark of 2 metre so I could hear him banging away and mixing it up and after about 10-15 minutes of us letting him work his fox broke through to him after a very easy dig muzzle to muzzle with the fox to say I was delighted is an understatement I know I sound like a woman but its a very good feeling so then dog up and fox dispatched we moved on and only had one more dig to a young patterdale bitch I have no pictures of the digs as the hunts man was there and I was doing all the digging i have a few pictures of the hounds If ye want me to put them up. Great simple honest post mate good luck with terriers Good to see the huntterrier alive and well 1 Quote Link to post
