Guest SJM
Heres the pic from last night mate, How is your wee dog this morning? I thought he ran well and picked things up very quickly Ollie's wrist is a bit swollen but I gave her a painkiller and anti inflammatory last night and its not so bad this morning and she is putting weight on it now, I think it was that last run where the rabbit went through the rocky patch that did it for a good night out and good company Quote Link to post

Guest SJM
Same here Frank I was dissappointed as I had promised Chester a good bag, and I thought cos I hadnt touched this bit all year there would be a few rabbits on the go but we caught most of what we chased and then a couple of parks were empty The numbers just arent there any more Dont get me wrong, there were lots of green rabbits and a few sitting nice and tight as you would expect on the first night of a new season, but not enough to tempt me back into lamping full time again, you cant kill em if theyre not there Quote Link to post

Guest SJM
Well I thought he picked things up pretty quickly, a couple of runs and he was lifting them sharper, a couple more and he was going down the beam, what more can you ask really of a yound dog on its second outing? Cheers Weejohn she is not as swollen today, I think she has just knocked it on a stone or something, should heal up ok I wish I could cure my phobia of electric fences as quick as chesters dog learns the lamping game, I hate the b*****d things He spent most of the night checking to see if they were on and getting zapped on my behalf, a true gentleman Quote Link to post
