Fat Jill

Recommended Posts

I have a jill that was put to a hob sometime ago.

She is really fat but nothing has happened.

Could she still have kits this late in the year.

Regards roger

Its really hard to tell whats going on with her. She seems to be struggling and is best left on her own.

Any thoughts

if she was put to the hob and didnt have them and looks up the duff and gone over the time period there dead and she need to go to the vets to have them removed or it will kill her. i think it after 43 days and there the mum will die from poisoning.

sorry to give you the bad news

Only one way to find out , a quick scan of her belly at the vets will say if theres any arms & legs in there & if there dead or not but your quite right about dead kits :( being left inside the jill

if she is pregnant you should be able to feel the babies they will feel like she has a belly full of pebbles very lumpy if not then either she needs to lose some weight or there could be something else wrong phantom pregnancy or worse can you post a pic as your description is a bit vague.

Sound like its going to have to be a trip to the vet.

well it cost me 30 quid to have them confirm there was a dead kit inside the jill & the drugs to help her pass it, money well spent imo :D
