I wouldn't have to small that they cant move about in or to big that it takes ages to warm up when the dog goes in ..

He's about 26, that's my prob he's out grown the 1 he's in!

So just woundering what size would be best.

If he has outgrown his first one make his new one bigger... i would think 40in x40in x 28in high should be ample..

I agree that they can be too big. Mine are 6' x 4' and about 5 foot tall sloping to 4 foot at the back.

 

Far too big. Massive area to get warm in. I'm going to put 4" of Kingspan inside and ply line it to make it a bit smaller. But I will be building block kennels for next winter with something like this inside...
