Flynn 314
Its not the size of the dog on the outside that counts, its whats inside him.. http://www.deerhound.co.uk/Health%20Matter...b%20Article.pdf Dont fall into the trap Flyn hon, its a clever ploy, a sales tactic for breeders, and a way for these breeders to command higher prices for their puppies. It's a way to lure more potential buyers in their direction..Those of us who know the breed have realised this, like retina tests in collie breeds, its a waste of money testing, but it looks good when a buyer comes a long..the biggest numbers of deaths in the deerhound breed are cancer and torsion, and these are the first and second killers of all pedigree breeds Well thanks Dox altho not looking to buy a Deerhound i close friend bred from a well know SHOW stud dog. ......... most of the litter had that factor f is it? so ALL pups from the said litter were sold for well below price.......... however the Bitch she retained IS really winning Sorry for Hijack this thread Quote Link to post
holy grail 0
from the front feet to his shoulder is about 36-37 inches guys. well about the laws surrounding hunting... in Australia, as far as i know there aren't any laws to do with what game can be hunted with dogs. i may be wrong though. its a wonder the PETA group haven't targeted it yet. they are reacking havock at present by the stopping of mulsing sheep in 2010. but thats off the topic, i got him for use on foxes. hes a good dog, very obedient i believe. There are about 20 people in Great Britain who know deerhounds, and are seeking to produce dogs to the original standard, and about 1020 people who havent got a f**king clue...... If it were my thread, you could hijack it anytime Quote Link to post
