Feeding Pups

Recommended Posts

Just made the pup her dinner up for tonight, a handful of gain 28, pasta, 1/2 lb a beef, some veg and a knob of lard to keep her fat up on the cold nights, that's her 17 weeks old and down to 2 meals a day because she was leaving her middle meal, I mix the meat up with lamb, chicken, venison and fish and only add the pasta every few days, what dose everyone else add/use or tricks of the trade when rearing pups cheers

My pups 5 months and just gone to 2 meals a day for the same reason. She was leaving the middle meal. But eats more in total split between 2 meals.

I aren't allowed to put photos up of what I feed the dogs. Hot meat told me off

Mine get oats, natural yoghurt and banana in a morning. Pup gets a pound of chicken mince on top.

And then meat of some form at night, (steak, beef mince, horse, tripe, chicken carcass, offal etc, brown bread or pasta, and a knob of lard. Twice a week they get tinned tomatoes with it, once a week a tin of vegetable soup and once a week a tin of fish in sunflower oil.

It varies from week to week but that's about it.
