Bsa Ultra Se Help??

Recommended Posts

Hi! ... Just wondering if anybody can give me a little bit of advice?

I've got a BSA Ultra se, 2.2.

Does anybody know what the best pressure to have it at is?

Plus, if I'm not using the gun for a while, do I keep it stored with a charge (or does that "knacker" the seals up?)?

Thanks in advance... Neil

Hi chap, you will find you will have a flatter power curve thus more consistency filling your se to 190-200bar rather than the max 230bar.

It is best to keep the rifle stored with air in it as this will keep the seals intact.

Hope this helps

Hi Neil, I fill by Scorpion SE (same but with longer barrel and cylinder) to 190bar and then top it up at 90bar, that way you get the flattest trajestory. Also like Bendover said, keep air in it because it does keep the seals intact. I store mine with 190bar pressure in that way when you want to go hunting you can just get out and go rather than having to fill it up first. Hope that helps!
