A Mooch With Rew And The Youngens

Had a mooch local with REW of here, we only account for 1 or 2 on our local spot but I need to get me young ferrets and lurcher out as much as poss before we start on some decent ground. Before I met rew I ferreted a little warren with my 2 young ferrets 1 hob and a jill. I havnt caught non in this warrenfor some time however this time I accounted to two. Shortly after I met rew and he had already caught 3 rabbits with his experienced jill on the way to meet me which meant we had 5 in the bag. The next warren we ferreted produced 3 healthy rabbits, its the first time we've ferreted it this year as its bin covered in nettles, we moved on and drew a blank. The next set we done we got 2 and the final set we got 1. We got 11 rabbits in total which to some is not alot but to us its the biggest bag we've acheived in years around that particular place. The pup is coming on great and starting to understand the ferreting game abit, all in all was a great day out and a learning curve for both young ferrets and dog. Cheers
