northern lad 2,292 Posted November 24, 2013 Report Share Posted November 24, 2013 (edited) So yesterday Im in the local shop and got handed a flier for the above ,its at the Exhibition Centre opposite the Trafford Centre ,and expected to bring thousands through the doors....which got me thinking,theres a good 40 odd trade stands ,all the big names and various societies,Pike Anglers Club etc etc .Would it not be a good idea to get a THL stall set up ,a few lads/lasses on it,some friendly ferrets,dogs to fuss etc maybe a BOP or two,let the public see we are not all knuckle draggers hell bent on killing anything that moves or members of the aristocracy talking plum in gob as sadly this is the publics concept of hunters like it or not.The fishing section on here is seldom used which is understandable on a hunting site,its attracting people who hunt and fish,if we can smash a few misconceptions by talking to people who don't hunt surely this is a step in the right direction....I really think we are missing a trick here,doing nothing only means even less opportunities/more rules/laws for the next generation coming into it...
