ferret15 0
I spent today at the Celia cross greyhound charity event not a hunting thing. but nice to see so many happy healthy Grey's who were once with out a home while i was there i heard a tanoy announcement asking for the owner of a Mercedes to return to there car as there Labradors were in distress i heard this announce three times over a period of about twenty Min's. (after the second announcement i started looking for the car my self !!) but the owners returned and left red faced and with a good telling off from the organizers. i know there are some stupid people out there but to leave your dogs in the car at a function where they are welcomed i glad that the people returned before i found the car because i would of smashed the window and had a word or to with them as well i just cant believe Simone would leave there dogs in a car in the midday sun at a f*****g dog show Edited September 9, 2007 by ferret15
Kay 3,709
Several yrs ago i attended a ferret pr event at Chatsworth & right behind the pr tent was parked a four wheel drive with 2 small dogs in it, the drivers window was open a tiny bit & as the day went on it got unusualy hot for sept ,in te end several off us managed to get the window down & get the dogs out ,settle them in a spare pen someone kindly let us use, it beggers belief how selfish people can be

bill88 6
I was at the gamefair at Ragley hall a few weeks ago. There were stacks of 4x4's in the car park, with gundogs locked in.Luckily the weather was pretty dull that day so it wasn't hot,but still no excuse.Remember seeing a terrier locked in a car at a car boot sale last year, and it was f*****g baking hot,the dog was there in the shade at 10 am,and was still there at 3,when we came back, only the sun was straight on the car and the poor feckin dog was cooking. My wife went and told one of the security people, they came over took one look and smashed the window.Daft b*****d wandered over about twenty minutes later complaining about the window, and saying it wasn't his dog but his fathers The security bloke told him to shut the f**k up or he'd knock him out, needless to say he fecked off sharpish. F*ckin Love It! I've found the Security at these shows is usually just the local Lads, drafted in, given some dosh for their trouble and told to 'sort out' any bother. F*cked if I'd argue with some of those boys either! Much more effective than some ultra law conciouse, by the book jobsworth. I remember a case, back in Portsmouth. Some twat left two Rottie's in the motor. Sadly, before anyone proved willing to 'get involved', they'd died and were done to a turn by the time the Police were called. Then the c*** himself turned up and it was all the Police could do to save him from being beaten to death on the spot by people who were realising what had happened. Shame those coppers did things by the book. If they'd just walked away we'd have seen some Real justice that day.
