quagmire 6
Hi Am i correct in thinking that ROOST SHOOTING involves being on the edge of a forrest or patch of trees that the pigeon want to sleep in at the right time of day and shoot them as they try to land in these trees. If this is so around what time would be the best time to intercept them. Thanks in advance Joe Quote Link to post

Born Hunter 17,909
I like to get in a couple hours before sunset. But if you know your wood and pigeons sometimes you can get in an hour or so durring the day but that's not strictly roost shooting. You'll fast learn with experience trust me. Don't overshoot it either, woods differ but I feel comfortable shooting once a fortnight. 1 Quote Link to post
