Saluki246 1,053
Iv always liked Saluki Lurchers, i never thought id take to a Pure. But this summer my mind was totaly changed. I started having a little to do with a Pure in the family, a little black and tan bitch of maybe 23 in to shoulder and maybe 40 lbs But all there in the right places. She had a Great Hunting instinct, attitude and temprement spot on. Exellent recall, great around other dogs , apart from Tomos terrier lol. A proper little charachter who didnt miss a trick and she could do what she was bred for on Fields. Iv no doubt on Fen she would of been exeptional. She was by Cruise Again = Cruise of Shildon and a Import on her Bottom line. Sadly she died doing what she was bred for on Tuesday down Notts area. Its done me in that much i honestly think that will be me after 28 years of been into the game. First 20 of those bordering fanatical. Best of luck to all and if the Fire burns bright dont waste a moment. Yeah them Saluki's can be something. Very sorry to hear that your saluki bitch died last week, she sounded spot on, that is sad....! Hope you keep going and get another sometime in the future. They are a cracking breed in my opinion, allways like them, in the right hands, they are a plasure to own and hunt. Quote Link to post
