I have a 01 2 ltr td vitara and a few weeks back whilst driving on the motorway the engine management light came on it stayed on for about a week then went off on its own so I thought nothing of it ... now coming home from bridgend earlier and the light came back on again but this time there seems to be a lose of power in first and second gear ...theres no smoke or any noise as such, any help would be much appreciated before I go to the garage....someone said it could be either the filter needs replacing or my turbo is f@@@ed Quote Link to post Share on other sites

paulf 820 Posted October 6, 2013 Author Report Share Posted October 6, 2013 well I had a lad over earlier who had one of these diagnostic things when he pluged it in only one code came up ... turns out it was the solenoid valve or something along that lines and only £20 .... so a bit of a result...thanks for your help...
