s horsfield 7
i was woundering if anyone can shed some light on a small problem that one of my jills as. here goes, she had an abcess in her neck and went off her food also losing a lot of weight. so off to the vets and a dose of antibiotics, she started to come round and back on her food , the weight has started to come back and she's quite active.BUT she's losing some of her fur,not scratching or redness and she's on the same diet as the other and what she was on before the trouble started. At first i thought she was just run down and needed to recover.None of my other ferrets have any symptoms. Anyone got any idea's before i have a trip to the vets. Cheers Ian Quote Link to post

Tyla 3,179
I have an old jill exactly the same, moults herself bald every Autumn but fine once the Winter coat comes through. Just means she misses the early part of the season. Quote Link to post
