fay 75 Posted October 3, 2013 Report Share Posted October 3, 2013 went out yesterday on a 19ft boat first time with the dog have to say was a pleasure to watch her then she decided to leap off the boat there was no birds ect in sight i then put her on her lead then she went to do it again luckily enough i graberd her as she went she retrieved well when shot game went in but why jump the boat i was tinkn she might b frightend but she was grand untill these 2 attemps i was tinkn does she jus love the water as any time she gets shes in it but to jump the boat when moving could she have got a good scent and went for it i dont no. any 1 have this before ment to say we were on the boat over an hour before she done this atb Quote Link to post
air gun ant 1,666 Posted October 3, 2013 Report Share Posted October 3, 2013 mine does it all the time lol, ive got a 22ft cruiser on the canal and we can be going along passing alsorts of ducks swans moorhens etc then all of a sudden he will take a disslikeing to one and just launch himself of the boat lol then he sees that ive carried on and he's swimming like f*ck to catch up coz the reverse doesnt work at the moment and ive just got used to not having one, it can be 200yrds before i stop sometimes. good exersise i suppose Quote Link to post
