Mk 1 Box And Collar

I have one of them here but the collar has no battery cap and i want to check if its working, the box does click when i put it close to my phone and stuff

 

any body know how to check if either one is working ?

 

i just want to use it as a spare one for the terriers in case something happens to the B&F

Take your collar into a tv repair shop and show them and they will have a tv cap to fit it or if theres a Rejects shop near you they sell the caps in packs of two then you will know if its working

do you need the cap or can you just press the battery on with your thumb ?

does it take 1 or 2 batteries ?

how can i tell if its normal or micro ?

 

i just checked there now and i have about every battery size known to man even hearing aid ones except 393's ...... typical

 

will any of these ones do ? if you can see the photo

that collar is a 15ft micro ferret collar, with the box make sure the battery is ok , turn on full and put it next to somthing electrical like the tv ect, it should make a noise, if it doesnt it could be the speaker or maybe even just a loose wire or somthing, pipa on here fixes them, pm him hes a decent trustworthy guy, he'l sort it out for you if its broke, ATB mate FTS
