thanks a lot for your replies lads after doing some "youtube" researching iv come down to 3 moderators the reflex t8, the wildcat predator 8 and the dm80. im favouring the wildcat predator 8 because you can strip it down, its stainless, lighter than the reflex t8 and 50 euro cheaper and unlike the dm80 I can get it in Ireland. thanks again for your help lads.

As someone else said the Wildcat P8 (and others) are not small. Many seem unaware of the P8 COMPACT version, I was originally. The Compact version is still not small, but it is a LOT smaller than the full version and if my memory serves me correctly is about 170g Lighter as well. I have them on my .223, .243 and .308 now and they work just fine.

I had the full length originally, the tube you can see is from it, I bought all the parts to convert my original one to COMPACT. It works fine and sound reduction was no different to my ear. Hence why I went on to buy Compacts for my .243 and .308.

 

They work fine for me!
