Myxi Outbreak

just as I was hoping to get my little bitch working up on the farm, there's been a bad myxi outbreak. Haven't seen any since last Christmas, and now most of the rabbits out there have it and the healthy population is so low; might only see a few healthy ones bolting when you approach instead of dozens... the bitch has been picking them up and gaining confidence but she's only had one decent run in the last couple of weeks. I'm new to this, so would you say that's the season buggered or might the situation improve? will it make her lazy if all she has to do is walk over and pick them up? although its great for her retrieve training I don't want her thinking all rabbits will sit there waiting! I wanted to get out lamping some nights in the coming weeks/months.
