banjo48 0
I shoot a Brno (CZ) 452 classic .22lr, love it, reliable, very acurate and very good value for money IMO. If I bought again the only thing I would do different is go for the synthetic stock, but thats just my personal choice. Quote Link to post
sprocker dog 7
I use about 12-15000 22lr rounds a year as a pest controller and in my experience I would keep away from semi action and get a bolt action rifle. like the other guys say a cz is a good rifle and being common there are plenty about second hand . I have an Anschutz 1417 and it was used when I got it and I have put at least 20,000 rounds through it and it still spot on. unlike a 17hmr your 22lr doesn't burn out so they generally last a long time. good luck with your searching, and try and use a few before hand if you can so you get use to the feel of a certain rifle.
