walshie 2,804
Going out for a quick walk round later, and just dug out my .410 so I'm going to give that a bash tonight. I put a 9" hushpower mod on it a while back and horribly mangled the bead getting it out to slip the mod on. I haven't needed it till now as I've only used it for "close-up" stuff. What's the best way to fit a bead onto the mod or shouldn't I bother? I realise if I put a bead on the mod, it will make it aim well low. Quote Link to post
walshie 2,804
Well thanks for all your answers. Just been out and you don't really need a front bead, so that's saved me a job. Quote Link to post
Alsone 789
Yeah you got a lot of replies. If you were to try anything, I'd say mount it on the rib behind the moderator. That might not make sense, but your brain is probably capable of imagining the position of the target through the moderator. It will still involve some guess work but its better than mounting it high. Try not to look directly at the bead just have it in your peripheral vision and I think it could work. No scientific basis for this though other than common sense and the knowledge that the brain is very good for compensating for missing information. 1 Quote Link to post
