Setting Up Hft Targets

Recommended Posts

Havent found anything about this online so thought id ask here,

there are 2 types if im correct

1) the type that you stick in the ground with a spike, which has a killzone and a reset target aswell

and

2_ the fall flat ones with the string to pull them back up after you knock them down..

well, I wanted to buy a couple of type 1) to practice and plink with at my permission, but they all seem to be sold out online, easy to just stick in the floor right..

but as the type 1) are all sold out I might have to buy some type 2) ones with the string (more effort? lol)

but how do you set them up????

looks like they have some sort of block on the bottom that you screw onto a piece of wood or a trr branch etc..??

any help appreciated thanks for reading lads

They have a flat steel plate on the bottom with holes drilled to bolt to a bracket. most clubs have brackets with a spike on or they ratchet stap the bracket to a tree or post you could put them on the ground and secure them with tent pegs but if it was my money i would wait and get a resettable target.

tent peg idea sounds ok, but I would prefer a resettable- by shooting- one

thanks mate
