jonah. 775
caught some on the way into work, from what i listened to they didnt have it all there own way, which makes a refreshing change from the usual bbc countryfile biased bullshit. the debate seemed to leaning towards farming from the part i caught, which is not an unusual angle for radio 4 to take. seems the farming community are pretty pissed off at the way they are just bringing prosecutions without having any type of independant dody to assess evidence before prosecution begins, as is the case with the CPS and the police. GSkye 94
That's mad and altogether cruel towards the people and animals affected. Don't get me wrong, I'd like to be naive and think they solely look after sick and abandoned animals I know there's twisted people out there who will abuse animals for their own entertainment or get animals to follow fashion, once it's over, the animals are pushed aside for the next craze and left unloved and given no care. I've always had a positive experience with the RSPCA and respected the work they do but this seems a bitter pill to swallow. Grae

Grae like many Your opinion of them is of what they were , and they used to be a good orginisation with the welfare of sick and homeless dogs cats etc , that has long gone they are now a political. Orginisation witch uses charitable funds to wage legal battles. On. Hunts and other field sports they have become the crutch fot police forces who can not man wild life and domestic pet Cases. They have been maniulated by lacs their charitable statues should be removed or there funds put into the hands of a trust till they have been held accountable for waste. Of funds in recent years and the politicsl involve ment with lacs , the rspca was founded by fieldsports enthusiasts And remaind neutral Till the late 70s on the death of certain board members and benifactors the lacs moved in a great shame

Although we're killing animals- considered pests and vermin to argraculture and domestics. Surely as long as its excecuted well and the body/carcass removed. I don't see why anyone should be concerned.Obviously there will be someone, be it my nosey feckin neighbour (>_<)' I always thought the RSPCA were just a charity, obviously I'm new to hunting but this shouldn't be an excuse either. I've heard of the RSPCA prosecuting people who hoarded animals, left them malnourished, in a foul state and living quarters. That is only right but doing it to people who have had pets in healthy states and no reason to be interstates by them is pretty unheard of and cruel. Could be a foot in mouth statement but I'm surprised there's not a Panorama or Channel Four program on this A miffed off Grae Edited August 9, 2013 by GSkye
