i've got two of these types (not from here) hi mid lo strobe no memory but when you turn them off they return to full. (replace a metal clip in the head for a 'o' ring)

http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/1800-Lm-Zoomable-CREE-XM-L-T6-LED-Flashlight-Torch-Zoom-Lamp-2X26650-Charger-/190785492716?pt=UK_SportGoods_CyclAcces_RL&hash=item2c6bb396ec

one with a red cree in it with a curcuit board in it (cc/cv) and one as it came.

2-3 hours full brightnes, they do dim a bit at the end of the battery life but theyre good for 100 yard, further on eye shine, the red one is quite 'covert' as they say but very usuable, same 100 yards plus for eye shine, better than a logan lamp for sure.

using these batteries

and a B-6 imax copy charger, 1-2 amp charge rate does it in about 3 hours a single charge.

a few like these

these are a bit less light than the bigger one above but still 80-100 yards

http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/350764079426?ssPageName=STRK:MESINDXX:IT&_trksid=p3984.m1436.l2649 but they need a ew driver in them, because theyre no memery and go through a flash cycle.

in the red cree i have

http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/251172592893?ssPageName=STRK:MESINDXX:IT&_trksid=p3984.m1436.l2649 constant volt constant current

and using these sort of battery craddles, they do a few diferent voltage types.

i'm on a 2 cell one to account for the voltage drop with the cc/cv board....2parallel pack and the thing hasnt ran out after quite a few hours lol...(i recon 8 hours odd out of the pack)

the 26650 torch is a fraction to big for 30mm rings but the split plastic 8 ring clamp efferts with the single screw knob fit them i think, i just zip tie them into the 30mm end of an adjustble scope to torch mount, the 18650's type need 3 raps of tape in a 25mm ring).)
